On behalf of SHAPE Colorado, I am would like to welcome you to the 2019 Annual Convention. This is the 88th time we have come together to share ideas. Here, we can thrive in our profession by learning new ways to benefit our kids, our profession, and our state. We offer quality sessions, workshops, and demonstrations to enrich how you teach Health and Physical Education in Colorado.
The SHAPE Colorado Board has worked extensively to assure your convention experience is a success. Board members will be here as attendees, facilitators and presenters. We inspire and motivate students to use their Awesomeness to help their school as we provide American Ninja Warrior Equipment to your Physical Education Department. Our team will do 90% of the work and your PE department will keep 40% of the funds raised. In this workshop you will learn a series of Ultimate (Frisbee) lessons that will give you a deeper understanding of the game and how to teach it; including physical, psychological, and communications skills that will set the tone for your students’ entire year.

We will explore curriculum and games to identify opportunities and collaborative team activities that reinforce these concepts within the classroom.
